Prayer Points for February

A famous set of stairs in Paris

Thanks to those of you who look at this and pray for us.  We really appreciate it and it helps to know of your interest and support.

We’d like to start with thanks for the 5, possibly 6 people who have signed up for the Alpha course.  Please continue to pray for us all as we meet together over the next 10 weeks.

1.  Dave is writing a lot at the moment. Please pray that he will be both creative and able to reflect the heart of Jesus’ message in all that he writes.

2.  We are helping to encourage and coach three/four Life Group leaders each this term.  Please pray that we will be a ‘Barnabas’ to them in this supportive role.

3.  As we pray for one another as a team at The Bridge and gather together to pray for one another and the church, we would value your prayers that we will see God at work in the big and the small things.

4.  No prayer request would be complete without the one for the language!  Living here makes us realise more how important it is, not so much with the team, but in getting to know the people around us, which is part of what we want to do.

5 Please pray that we will continue to get to know more people in our town through our weekly attendance at a local quiz which is in both English and French.

Thank you – more next month!  By the way, feel free to contact us if we can pray for you about anything. You can keep up with our day to day events at Une Vie de Remerciements

Hi Sharon,
Just letting you know that I’m praying for you and Dave and your family as always. So looking forward to seeing you at the Bridge in the coming weeks and hearing Dave speak again! And really excited about the Alpha group–wishing I could be more a part….but one day soon, hopefully, we will be there full-time. Blessings~~

Thanks for your comment Kathy and your prayers. I’ve been praying for you and your family too, especially during the transition time of leaving the States. Trust all went well. I’m really looking forward to catching up with you and we would like you both to feel free to stay with us anytime – you would be very welcome, but whatever works best for you.
Speak soon,
Love
Sharon
