Reaching 2.4 Billion Children

Dave helped launch Youthwork magazine and the annual Children’s Ministry conference in Eastbourne. Over 1200 people attend every year.

Dave remains involved in advocating for Children’s Ministry in the following ways

1 He has helped create the Children Matter website. The 2000+ members receive a weekly news update. The Children Matter coalition organises an annual consultation and were behind an advocacy DVD that went to the majority of the churches in the UK. Dave also edits the Children Matter Journal

2 He is part of the European Children’s Ministry Network, who will stage a 2013 conference that will seek to bring together key children’s ministry influencers from across the continent

3 Dave is a part of the core group behind the Global Children’s Forum. Over 1.1 billion children worldwide do not have access to the gospel of Jesus. Another 1.1 billion are ‘reached potentially’. GCF seeks to introduce innovative ideas in mission to children and create free resources for the 70% of churches in the world that do not have access to conventional children’s ministry resources.
